An antifungal medication called Econate 1%Cream is used to treat skin fungal diseases such as athlete’s foot, Dhobie Itch, thrush, ringworm, and dry, flaky skin. The fungi that cause these diseases are killed by it.
The dosage and duration of Econate 1% Cream should be followed exactly as advised by your doctor. Avoid using it more frequently or in larger amounts than prescribed because doing so won’t help your condition get better any faster and could even have negative side effects. After using the product for 2 to 4 weeks, skin infections often get better. If your problem doesn’t get better, tell your doctor.Â
By keeping the afflicted region clean and dry and washing your hands before and after using the medication, you can boost its effectiveness. If you have athlete’s foot, wash your tights or socks completely, and if you can, switch out your shoes every day.
Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton tonsurans, Microsporum canis, Microsporum audouini, Microsporum gypseum, and Epidermophyton floccosum cause tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis, as well as cutaneous candidiasis and tinea versicolor. Topical application of Econazole Nitrate is indicated for the treatment.
