Relye is indicated for the treatment of postoperative ocular pain and inflammation following cataract surgery.
- Use exactly as directed by your doctor.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.
- Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion.
- A 4–6 week course may be required for full recovery.
- Notify your doctor if you are on blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder.
Relye contains Bromfenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for ocular pain, inflammation, and redness.
