Clinface Gel 15gm

Clinface Gel is a combination medication containing Clindamycin and Tretinoin. It is used topically on the skin to treat acne in adults and adolescents aged 12 years or older.

Clindamycin, one of the active ingredients, is a topical antibiotic that works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria on the skin.

Tretinoin, the other active ingredient, is a synthetic derivative of vitamin A. It helps control acne breakouts by preventing the clogging of skin pores with sebum (skin oil) and dead skin cells. Additionally, it aids in the removal of dead skin cells that can block hair follicles in acne-affected areas, promoting faster skin renewal.

Here are some important considerations when using Clinface Gel:

• Clinface Gel should only be applied topically to the skin.
• Do not use Clinface Gel on areas of the skin that are inflamed, irritated, or sensitive.
• Avoid using any cosmetics or makeup products before applying Clinface Gel.
• Clinface Gel may increase your skin’s sensitivity to sunlight. Ensure you use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when going outdoors.
• Inform your doctor if you have any other skin conditions, such as rosacea or eczema, in addition to acne.
• Notify your doctor if you have ulcerative colitis or a family history of skin cancer.
• Clinface Gel may cause skin reactions such as redness, dryness, itching, stinging, burning sensation, and peeling at the application site. If you experience these side effects, discontinue use temporarily until your skin recovers, and consult your doctor if they worsen.
