Glycolic Acid 6% Cream is used to treat various skin conditions such as acne, acne scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and photoaging (premature aging caused by UV radiation). It contains glycolic acid, which has antibacterial, antioxidant, keratolytic (removes warts and calluses), comedolytic (prevents blemishes), and anti-inflammatory properties.
Glycolic Acid 6% Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids, lips, mouth, or nose. If it touches these areas, rinse with water immediately. Do not use on sunburned, windburned, dry, or irritated skin. Common side effects include dryness, redness, burning, itching, and skin irritation. GA-6 Cream may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight, so use sunscreen and protective clothing outdoors. Be cautious when applying it to sensitive areas, like the neck. Avoid using products that contain alcohol, hair removal products, or items with lime or spices while using GA-6 Cream.
