Nicont Gel is a combination treatment containing Clindamycin and Nicotinamide  antibiotic, and Nicotinamide, a form of Vitamin B3. This gel is used to manage mild to moderate acne, a condition where hair follicles become blocked with oil and dead skin cells. Acne can be triggered by factors like genetics, hormonal changes, stress, high humidity, or the use of oily personal care products, affecting individuals of all ages.
Symptoms of acne include open or closed clogged pores, red and tender bumps, pimples, painful lumps beneath the skin, and pus-filled lumps under the skin.
Before using Nicont Gel, inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, lung, or heart conditions. Avoid applying the gel to broken, sunburned, or eczema-affected skin.
Nicont Gel should be used cautiously during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is not recommended for children or adolescents under 12 years old. Always consult your doctor before use.
Common side effects of Nicont Gel include skin irritation, contact dermatitis (red, itchy rash), folliculitis (inflammation of hair follicles), itchy or dry skin, and peeling. If these symptoms worsen, seek medical advice.
