Exler 10 works by blocking the effect of histamine (a chemical messenger), which is responsible for allergic reactions in the body, thereby providing relief from allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny noses, watery eyes, and itchy skin rashes.
- Manage seasonal and persistent allergic rhinitis with or without allergic conjunctivitis in adults and children above 12 years of age
- Manage itching and urticaria (hives) in adults over the age of 18 years
Allergic rhinitis is caused by exposure to allergens, triggering symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and itching.
Exler 10 is an effective antihistamine used in:
- Adults and children (12+ years) for relief from seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, with or without allergic conjunctivitis
- Adults (18+ years) for the treatment of itching and urticaria (hives)
Use with caution in patients with:
Severe liver impairment
Electrolyte imbalances (e.g., low potassium)
Pre-existing heart rhythm abnormalities
- Should be used during pregnancy only when clearly needed
- Not recommended for breastfeeding women
- Not recommended in children under 12 years of age
- Urticaria treatment is not advised in patients under 18 years
