The Rupadin 10mg Tablet is a member of the “Anti-Histamine” or “Anti-Allergic” medication family that is used to treat allergic diseases such as Allergic Rhinitis and Urticaria. Hay fever, also known as allergic rhinitis, is a kind of nasal inflammation that happens when the immune system overreacts to allergens in the air. Hives, also known as urticaria, are sudden outbreaks of swollen, light red bumps or plaques (wheals) on the skin. These outbreaks can occur due to an immune system reaction to an allergen or unexplained causes.
“Rupatadine” may be found in Rupadin 10mg Tablet. It functions by lowering the amount of histamine, a molecule that is responsible for the itching, sneezing, runny nose, swelling, and rashes that are common allergic reactions. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
Before using Rupadin 10mg Tablet, let your doctor know if you have heart, renal, or liver problems, hypokalemia (low blood levels of potassium), lactose intolerance, hypokalemia, or any of the other conditions listed above. Patients with liver or renal dysfunction should avoid using Rupadin 10mg Tablet.
