- Who has an intolerance to oral iron or an unsatisfactory response to oral iron?
- Who has non-dialysis-dependent chronic kidney disease?
Revofer 500mg/10ml Injection contains Ferric carboxymaltose, which is classified as an Iron replacement medicine. It’s prescribed to correct iron deficiency anemia, a condition where the body lacks sufficient iron, crucial for oxygen transport.
Revofer 500mg/10ml Injection should be administered under careful medical supervision by a doctor or nurse, typically into the vein as an injection or infusion. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and treatment duration based on your health status.
Before receiving Revofer 500mg/10ml Injection, inform your doctor about any liver problems, chronic kidney diseases, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, eczema, allergies, systemic infections, low blood phosphate levels, or high blood pressure.
It’s not recommended if you have anemia not caused by iron deficiency, iron overload disorder, or if you’re allergic to ferric carboxymaltose or any other parenteral iron preparations.
