 Bilexa 100 Inhalation is a combination medication classified as a respiratory stimulant, commonly prescribed for treating asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

• Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition characterized by narrowed and inflamed airways, causing difficulty in breathing. Symptoms include shortness of breath and wheezing.
• COPD is a group of progressive lung diseases, including emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (bronchial inflammation), leading to restricted airways.

This medication contains:

• Fluticasone Furoate: An inhaled corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by blocking certain chemicals that trigger inflammatory responses. This helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, shortness of breath, and wheezing.
• Vilanterol: A long-acting beta-agonist (LABA) that belongs to the bronchodilator class. It works by relaxing airway muscles, helping to open the lungs for easier breathing.

• Avoid if allergic to any component of this medication.
• Not recommended for those with life-threatening asthma or COPD conditions.
• Inform your doctor if you have any lung infections, glaucoma, cataracts, osteoporosis, tuberculosis, kidney/liver problems, or if you are on immunosuppressant therapy.
