Ambrox Pediatric Drops

The mechanism of action of AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE involves thinning and loosening mucus in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. It achieves this by breaking down the acid mucopolysaccharide fibers, resulting in thinner and less dense/viscous mucus. This facilitates the effective removal of mucus through coughing. The viscosity of the mucus remains low as long as treatment is maintained.

It is important to take AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE as prescribed by your doctor. The recommended frequency of use will depend on your specific medical condition. Common side effects of AMBROXOL HYDROCHLORIDE may include nausea, taste changes, and numbness in the mouth, tongue, and throat. Most of these side effects are mild and transient.
