It can be taken with or without food at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level in the body. However, it should not be stopped suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this may exacerbate symptoms.
Common side effects may include dry mouth, constipation, urinary retention, blurred vision, increased heart rate, muscle rigidity, restlessness, and tremors. It may also cause a sudden drop in blood pressure upon changing positions, so rising slowly is advised. Dizziness and drowsiness may occur, so activities requiring mental focus should be approached cautiously.
