Sertal 50mg Tablet contains Sertraline, a medication in the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) class. It is prescribed for managing depression, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Additionally, it helps manage recurrent depression in adults and obsessive-compulsive disorder in children and adolescents aged 6-17 years.

Sertal 50mg Tablet is contraindicated for patients with angle-closure glaucoma and liver disease. Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have suicidal thoughts, epilepsy or a history of seizures, schizophrenia, heart disease (such as a prolonged QT interval or fast heart rhythm), or kidney disease.
Sertal 50mg Tablet is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It should be used cautiously in children and adolescents under 18 years old, with the dosage determined by the child’s age, body weight, and medical condition.
