Prolaxan 10 Billion Capsule

Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is a probiotic that manages the growth of harmful bacteria in the stomach and intestine. It is used to manage diarrhea, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, diarrhea caused by rotavirus (in babies and children), and travelers’ diarrhea. It is also used to relieve symptoms such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis. Also, it is used to manage colic in babies and atopic dermatitis in children. 

Lactobacillus rhamnosus is a probiotic, that enhances the immune response and also serves as a source of macro- and micronutrients, contributes to enzymatic digestion, modifies toxin receptors, and manages toxin-mediated disease. It also acts as an antibacterial, inhibiting gram-positive and gram-negative enteric bacteria. Additionally, manages the colonization of harmful bacteria by competitively inhibiting microbial adhesion sites.

Always take Prolaxan Capsule as advised by the physician. Do not exceed the daily prescribed dose. When taking antibiotics, take Prolaxan Capsule at least 2 hours before or after taking antibiotics. Patients should not take it with bowel perforation (hole in the intestine) or patients at risk of bowel perforation or severely immunocompromised individuals.
