Cazep 200 is an anti-epileptic medication used to treat epilepsy, preventing certain types of seizures. It is also prescribed for trigeminal neuralgia (a painful condition affecting the face, head, and neck), diabetic neuropathy (nerve pain related to diabetes), and occasionally for serious mood disorders like bipolar disorder when other treatments have failed.
Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and frequency for you, and it may be increased gradually. Take the medication with or without food, regularly at the same time each day. Do not stop taking it abruptly as it may worsen your condition.
Many medications can interact with Cazep 200, so ensure your doctor is aware of all medicines you are taking to avoid complications.
Inform your doctor if you have heart, kidney, or liver issues, difficulty urinating, epilepsy, or any mental illness like depression. Blood tests may be required before starting treatment and periodically thereafter.
