Paracetamol Tablet is the most widely used over-the-counter (OTC) medication. It is used for the treatment of fever. It also provides relief from headaches, toothache, backaches, nerve pain, musculoskeletal pain, etc. associated with/without fever.
- Ace XR Tablet is an analgesic medication primarily used to relieve pain associated with various conditions such as backache, headache, arthritis, menstrual pain, common cold, and toothache. It belongs to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and also helps reduce fever.
- It is important not to take this medicine if you are allergic to it, have a serious liver disorder, or consume excessive alcohol regularly or have a history of alcoholism. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded, and the tablet should be swallowed whole without crushing or mixing it in water.
- For adults, the usual dose is 1-2 tablets (500mg or 650mg) with a minimum interval of 4 hours between doses. The total daily dose should not exceed 4g. It is advised to take the medicine with food or milk. If a dose is missed, it should not be doubled up.
- It is important to follow the prescribed instructions and not increase the dose or frequency. Avoid consuming alcohol and other medications containing acetaminophen while using this medication. It is also recommended to maintain adequate hydration unless instructed otherwise.
- If any unusual bleeding (stool, mouth, urine) or bruising, unusual fatigue and weakness, changes in elimination patterns, or changes in the color of urine or stool occur, it should be reported. In case of overdose or toxicity, appropriate measures such as acetylcysteine and activated charcoal should be taken as prescribed.
