Canvo is an azole antifungal medication prescribed for individuals aged 12 years and older to treat the following fungal infections:
- Invasive aspergillosis
- Candidemia in non-neutropenic patients and disseminated candidiasis affecting areas like the skin, abdomen, kidney, bladder wall, and wounds
- Esophageal candidiasis
- Severe infections caused by Scedosporium apiospermum and Fusarium species, including Fusarium solani
- Cases where patients are intolerant to or have not responded to other therapies.
