Additionally, Ciclopirox is effective in the treatment and prevention of dandruff, a common scalp condition characterized by flaking and itching, and it also treats seborrheic dermatitis, a chronic skin condition causing red, itchy, and flaky patches on the scalp and other areas of the body. These conditions typically affect adults 18 years of age and older.
