Acifix 20mg Capsule is a type of medication that falls under the category of antiulcer drugs known as proton pump inhibitors. Its main purpose is to treat various conditions such as duodenal ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (a condition where stomach contents flow back into the food pipe), heartburn, erosive oesophagitis (damage to the food pipe lining caused by acid), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. When combined with an antibiotic, it can also be used to treat infections caused by a bacterium called Helicobacter pylori.
Acifix 20mg Capsule includes “Rabeprazole,” which blocks the function of the stomach proton pump enzyme, which is in charge of producing acid. This aids in lowering the quantity of acid generated, treats ulcers, and stops the development of new ulcers.
