- Preventing stress ulcers and GI bleeding
- Relieving gas symptoms, particularly post-operative gas discomfort
- an antifoam agent, reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles in the GI tract, aiding in the relief of flatulence and meteorism. Simethicone is not absorbed by the GI tract and is excreted unchanged.

- Flatamel DS Suspension 200ml is a combination of three medicines (Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium Hydroxide + Simethicone)-(200 mg+400 mg+30 mg)/5 ml) that help in:
- Relieving symptoms such as stomach pain or irritation
- Neutralizing stomach acid
- Releasing excess gas in the stomach
- Take this medicine by mouth before meals, preferably at bedtime.
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
- Always complete the prescribed course of treatment.
