Esomeprazole is used to treat:

  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
  • Stomach ulcers and intestinal ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection and NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs)
  • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

Opton 20mg Tablet, containing Esomeprazole, is a medication classified as a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). Opton 20mg Tablet is used for the treatment of conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, stomach ulcers or infections caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria, and excessive stomach acid production associated with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

  • Opton 20mg Tablet helps reduce the production of stomach acid, providing relief from the symptoms of GERD. GERD occurs when acid from the stomach flows back into the esophagus, causing irritation and inflammation.
  • Opton 20mg Tablet is not recommended for children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Consult your doctor for advice before giving this medication to younger individuals.
