Tiginor EZ TabletÂ
- Atorvastatin: Lowers cholesterol and lipoprotein levels by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase and cholesterol synthesis in the liver. It also increases LDL receptor activity, which enhances LDL catabolism.
- Ezetimibe: Inhibits cholesterol absorption in the small intestine, reducing cholesterol delivery to the liver. This increases the clearance of cholesterol from the blood.
Tiginor EZ TabletÂ
- Primary Hyperlipidemia: Tiginor EZ is used to reduce elevated levels of total cholesterol (total-C), LDL-C (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol), Apo B (apolipoprotein B), triglycerides (TG), non-HDL-C, and increase HDL-C (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol) in patients with primary hyperlipidemia (both familial and non-familial) or mixed hyperlipidemia.
- Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia (HoFH): It is used to reduce elevated total-C and LDL-C levels in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia as an adjunct to other lipid-lowering treatments (e.g., LDL apheresis) or when such treatments are unavailable.
