Losart 25 blocks the effects of Angiotensin II (a substance produced in your body that causes narrowing of blood vessels), which leads to relaxation of blood vessels, resulting in low blood pressure in affected individuals.
Losart 25 is used to manage:
- mild to moderate hypertension
- hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy
- nephropathy in type 2 diabetic patients
