Linezolid is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the lungs (Pneumonia), skin & soft tissues.

Arlin 600mg Tablet contains Linezolid, which is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. Here is some important information about this medication:

  • Pneumonia (nosocomial and community-acquired pneumonia).
  • Skin and soft tissue infections (complicated skin and soft tissue infections).
  • Blood infections.

Before starting this medication, inform your doctor if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Liver, kidney, or heart problems.
  • Mental health problems, such as manic depression or schizoaffective disorder.
  • Overactive thyroid.
  • Anemia.
  • History of seizures.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Adrenal gland tumor (phaeochromocytoma) or carcinoid syndrome.
  • If you are prone to infections.

During Treatment: Your doctor may perform regular blood tests to monitor your blood count and assess your eyesight if you are on Arlin 600mg Tablet for more than 28 days.

Special Considerations:

  • Arlin 600mg Tablet is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women unless advised by a doctor.
  • It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.
  • It should not be used in children and adolescents below 18 years of age.
  • Caution should be exercised when using this medication in elderly patients aged 65 years and above.
