Description

Each vial contains Colistimethate Sodium equivalent to:

  • 1 MIU (34 mg Colistin)
  • 2 MIU (68 mg Colistin)
  • 3 MIU (102 mg Colistin)
  • 4.5 MIU (150 mg Colistin)

Megabac is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic infections caused by susceptible aerobic Gram-negative bacteria, particularly:

  • Pseudomonas aeruginosa
  • Klebsiella pneumoniae
  • Escherichia coli (E. coli)
  • Enterobacter aerogenes

📌 Note: Not effective against infections caused by Proteus or Neisseria.
