- Spasticity from multiple sclerosis
- Flexor spasms with associated pain, clonus, and muscle rigidity
- Skeletal muscle spasms from rheumatic disorders
- Spinal cord injuries and diseases
- Cerebrovascular accidents or neoplastic or degenerative brain disease
