- Myolax 50 belongs to a class of drugs called centrally-acting muscle relaxants. Myolax 50 Tablet is used for the treatment of acute musculoskeletal pain. (pain within the body starts from muscles, bones, or joints).
- Myolax 50 Tablet should not be used in individuals who have significant liver or renal impairment, galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or myasthenia gravis. In individuals with liver or renal disease, Myolax 50 Tablet should be taken with care.
- Myolax 50 Tablet should only be taken during pregnancy if specifically suggested by a doctor, and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding mothers. Myolax 50 Tablet should be used with caution in youngsters (aged 3 months to 14 years) and in the elderly.
- Myolax 50 Tablet includes Tolperisone, which belongs to the Muscle Relaxant class of medications. It is used to treat skeletal muscle spasms that are painful. Muscle spasms (muscle cramps) are painful muscular contractions and tightenings. Muscular weakness, tingling or prickling sensations, and pain or discomfort are all symptoms.
- Acute musculoskeletal pain is the discomfort felt in a specific part of the body that is thought to be caused by the muscles, joints, or bones in that area. Pain caused by severe local causes, such as fractures, tumors, or infections, as well as pain caused by general or neurological causes, are excluded from the criteria.
