Carazol Nasal Spray contains iota-Carrageenan, a naturally derived polysaccharide obtained from edible red seaweed (Chondrus crispus, commonly known as Irish Moss).
The nasal cavity is the primary entry point for respiratory viruses such as rhinovirus, coronavirus, influenza virus, adenovirus, enterovirus, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Once inside, these viruses attach to the nasal mucosa, infect epithelial cells, and replicate, leading to symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and rhinorrhea.
