Nicorandil contains Nicorandil, a potassium-channel activator. It:
- Opens potassium channels in the muscle cells of blood vessels.
- Relaxes and widens these blood vessels.
- Reduces the heart’s workload by making it easier to pump blood.
- Increases oxygen and blood supply to the heart muscle by widening coronary arteries.
