Rolac 10mg Tablet contains Ketorolac tromethamine, which is a type of painkiller. It is used for the short-term management of sudden and moderately severe pain, typically occurring after surgery or related to musculoskeletal issues. Short-term pain refers to pain that lasts for five days or less and is characterized by its sudden and sharp nature.
It is important to note that Rolac 10mg Tablet is not recommended for use in patients who are already taking other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin, or in individuals with advanced kidney, heart, cerebrovascular, or gastrointestinal diseases, or a tendency to bleed easily. Before taking Rolac 10mg Tablet, it is advisable to inform your doctor if you have liver, lung, or heart diseases, high blood pressure, or inflammatory bowel diseases.
The use of Rolac 10mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, especially during the last three months, and in breastfeeding mothers. It is also not recommended for use in children below 17 years of age. Elderly patients above 65 years of age should use Rolac 10mg Tablet with caution.
It is important to avoid smoking and consuming alcohol while taking Rolac 10mg Tablet. Common side effects of Rolac 10mg Tablet include nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, or swelling. If these symptoms worsen or persist, it is advised to consult your doctor immediately.
