Exovate N Cream is a medication that is primarily used in cases of stubborn eczema and psoriasis, excluding extensive plaque psoriasis, where there is a secondary bacterial or candidal infection or where such an infection is suspected or likely to occur when using occlusive dressings.
Exovate N Cream is a combination of (Clobetasol Propionate 0.5mg + Neomycin Sulfate 5mg + Nystatin 100000IU/gm) which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids, Antifungals, and Antibiotics. It is used to treat resistant dermatoses (skin infections) with secondary bacterial or fungal infections.
Exovate N Cream is not recommended for use in patients with rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, perianal and genital pruritus, viral infections (ex. herpes simplex, chickenpox), and a perforated eardrum. Exovate N Cream is generally not recommended for use in pregnancy unless considered necessary. Dosage adjustment is not required for Exovate N Cream in the geriatric population. However, the greater sensitivity of some older individuals cannot be ruled out. Contact your doctor before applying. The most common side effects of this medicine are skin rash, itching, redness, burning sensation, and contact dermatitis. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.
