Scabit lotion is an antiparasitic medication. It is used to treat scabies, a condition where tiny insects infest and irritate your skin. This medicine works by killing the insects (mites) and their eggs.
Apply the lotion to the whole body, including scalp, postauricular areas, palms, and soles. Pay particular attention to skin creases & interdigital web spaces. Do not apply to the face and mucous membranes.
In children under 2 years: Wrap hands to avoid accidental ingestion. Leave on skin for 8 to 12 hours, then rinse off. A single application may be sufficient. A second application 7 days later reduces the risk of treatment failure.
