Aspirin 75 mg + Clopidogrel 75 mg Tablet
Clopidogrel:
- A prodrug that requires metabolic activation to exert its effects.
- It works by irreversibly binding to P2Y12 receptors on platelets, preventing platelet activation and aggregation.
- The antiplatelet effect starts within 2 hours of a single dose, with peak activity achieved between days 3 and 7 of regular dosing (75 mg daily).
Aspirin:
- It irreversibly inhibits platelet cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, blocking thromboxane A2 synthesis. This action reduces platelet aggregation and vasoconstriction.
Anlet Plus-
Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)
Anlet PLUS is prescribed to lower the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction) and stroke in patients diagnosed with:
- Non-ST-segment elevation ACS: Includes unstable angina (UA) and non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI).
- Acute ST-segment elevation ACS: Also known as ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
In individuals with a history of recent myocardial infarction, recent stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease, Anlet PLUS helps reduce the likelihood of recurrent MI or stroke.
