Clioquinol 1% + Flumetasone Pivalate 0.02% Ear Drop is indicated for the treatment of external ear inflammation and infections (otitis externa) and fungal infections of the outer ear (otomycosis).
- Flumetanol Ear Drops contain Clioquinol 1% + Flumetasone Pivalate 0.02%, a potent difluorinated glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, vasoconstrictive, and antiproliferative effects.
- It also contains clioquinol, a halogenated hydroxyquinoline derivative with bacteriostatic action against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including fungi and Gram-positive bacteria.
- For adults and children (aged 2 years and over), the recommended dose is 2 to 3 drops twice daily for the prescribed period, usually not longer than 10 days.
- Before application, warm the ear drops to body temperature by holding the bottle in the palm of your hand. Do not heat it above body temperature.
