Olarif DS contains Olopatadine, a selective histamine H1-receptor antagonist. It reduces allergy symptoms by:
- Blocking histamine release from mast cells
- Preventing histamine-induced effects on the conjunctiva
It also exhibits properties similar to mast cell stabilizers.
