Ofloxacin + Clotrimazole + Beclomethasone + Lidocaine- 0.3%+1%+0.025%+2% Ear drop is indicated for the treatment of superficial bacterial and fungal infections of the external auditory canal and the middle ear, caused by organisms susceptible to Ofloxacin and Clotrimazole.
Ofloxacin + Clotrimazole + Beclomethasone + Lidocaine is a combination medication designed to treat bacterial and fungal ear infections, including otitis media (infection of the middle ear) and otitis externa (inflammation of the outer ear canal). Each component of this combination works together to address the infection and its symptoms:
- Beclometasone (corticosteroid) reduces redness, itching, and swelling by inhibiting inflammatory chemicals.
- Clotrimazole (antifungal) damages fungal cell membranes, killing the fungi.
- Lidocaine (local anesthetic) reduces pain by blocking pain signals from reaching the brain.
- Neomycin (antibiotic) kills bacteria by inhibiting protein production necessary for their growth.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dosage and treatment duration.
- Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental contact occurs, rinse with water.
- Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Not recommended for children.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use.
- Discontinue use and seek medical advice if you experience worsening pain, ear discharge, or drainage.
