Aloe indica Royle: Contains anthrone-10-C-glycosyls, including aloin A, aloin B, 7-hydroxyaloin, and 1,8-dihydroxy anthraquinone, including Aloe-emodin. Aloe has been found to effectively reduce symptoms of acid reflux and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. Regular use can increase energy levels and help maintain a healthy body weight. Aloe aids detoxification and acts as a colonic-specific stimulant laxative, increasing colonic motility and inhibiting water and electrolyte secretion. It may also have stool-softening properties.
Hyoscyamus niger: Contains alkaloids hyoscyamine and scopolamine. Provides symptomatic relief of spasms caused by lower abdominal and bladder disorders, including peptic ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, colic, and cystitis.
Piper nigrum: Contains 3,4-dihydroxy phenyl ethanol glycosides, piperine, polysaccharides, fatty oil, and volatile oil. Stimulates thermal receptors and increases secretion of saliva and gastric mucus. Influences liver metabolic functions.
