- Thiamine Hydrochloride 5 mg

This syrup is the preparation of Iron, Vitamin B complex, and Zinc. In this preparation, Iron is present as Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex. Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex facilitates a controlled absorption of the iron when it comes in contact with the mucosal cell surface. Due to its non-ionic nature, this Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex is more stable than conventional Iron form.
- Adults: 5 ml-10 ml (1-2 teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician.
Children: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician.
Infants: 0.33 ml/kg body weight daily or as recommended by the physician.
Since Iron is complex-bound, ionic interaction with foodstuff components (phytates, oxalates, tannin, etc.) and concomitant administrations of medicaments (tetracyclines, antacids) are unlikely to occur.
