Description

Nepafenac

  • Management of post-cataract surgery eye pain and inflammation
  • Prevention of cystoid macular edema in diabetic patients after cataract surgery

Nep TS 0.3% Ophthalmic Suspension contains Nepafenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in ophthalmology. It is indicated for adults to relieve post-operative eye pain and inflammation following cataract surgery. It is also used to reduce the risk of cystoid macular edema (CME), a swelling in the retina, particularly in diabetic patients after cataract surgery.

Nep TS 0.3% is for ocular use only and should be used strictly as directed by a physician for optimal results. Patients are generally advised to avoid wearing contact lenses after cataract surgery until cleared by their doctor.

  • Use only as prescribed by your doctor
  • Wash your hands before application
  • Tilt the head back and instill drops into the lower eyelid pocket
  • Gently close the eyes and apply light pressure to the inner corner of the eye for about 2 minutes
  • Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination
  • Dosage and duration depend on your medical condition and your doctor’s advice
