Lunarzin 10 mg should not be used in patients with:

- Current or previous depressive disorders
- Parkinson’s disease
- Existing extrapyramidal movement disorders
Flunarizine, the active ingredient in Lunarzin 10 mg, is a difluorinated derivative of cinnarizine and acts as a selective calcium-channel blocker. It reduces excessive calcium influx into cells, thereby preventing cellular calcium overload while preserving normal calcium balance. The drug also possesses mild antihistaminic and sedative properties and is highly protein-bound in the bloodstream.
