Curafin contains Amorolfine Hydrochloride, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent. Amorolfine belongs to the morpholine class of antifungals and works by inhibiting important fungal enzymes involved in sterol production. This disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, ultimately inhibiting fungal growth and survival.
Phenoxyethanol acts as a preservative in the formulation.
Curafin is a topical antifungal medicine used to treat various fungal infections of the skin, including:
- Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Tinea inguinalis
- Tinea corporis (ringworm)
- Tinea manuum (fungal infection of the hands)
- Pityriasis versicolor
Dosage & Administration
Apply a thin layer of Curafin to the affected areas once daily, preferably in the evening, after thoroughly cleaning and drying the skin.
- Continue treatment regularly until the infection has completely cleared.
- Treatment should generally be continued for an additional 3–5 days after clinical recovery.
- The duration depends on the type and location of the fungal infection.
- Treatment usually requires at least 2–3 weeks.
- Fungal infections of the feet may require treatment for up to 6 weeks.
Use the medicine for the duration recommended by your physician.
Children and adolescents:
Due to limited clinical experience, use in children is generally not recommended unless specifically advised by a doctor.

Drug Interactions
No specific interaction studies have been conducted regarding the simultaneous use of Curafin with other topical medicines. Inform your doctor about other creams or medicines being applied to the affected area.
Contraindications
Curafin should not be used by patients who have previously experienced hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to amorolfine or any of the ingredients in the cream.
Side Effects
