10X Cream is an imidazole antifungal that disrupts the fungal cell membrane by inhibiting 14-alpha demethylase, an enzyme required for converting lanosterol into ergosterol. The lack of ergosterol increases the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, leading to the leakage of cellular components and ultimately killing the fungus.
10X Cream is indicated for the topical treatment of fungal skin infections such as:
- Tinea corporis (ringworm)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Interdigital tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
