Isotretinoin

Acne Care (Isotretinoin 20 mg) is an oral retinoid therapy used for the treatment of severe cystic and inflammatory acne that has not responded to conventional treatment. As a derivative of Vitamin A, Isotretinoin works at the root cause of acne by shrinking sebaceous glands, reducing sebum production, and preventing the formation of new acne lesions.
- The recommended dose is 0.5–1 mg/kg body weight per day
- Administered in two divided doses taken after meals
- Treatment continues until a cumulative dose of 120 mg/kg is achieved
- A full treatment course typically lasts 6–8 months
- The micronized form used in Acne Care capsules ensures better bioavailability and faster results
- Isotretinoin must be taken under the supervision of a qualified physician
- Pregnancy must be strictly avoided during treatment
- Regular clinical monitoring may be required
