Description

  • Actose 30mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication used alongside a balanced diet and exercise to manage elevated blood sugar (hyperglycemia) in individuals with type 2 diabetes.
  • Actose 30mg Tablet aids in restoring the body’s proper insulin response, effectively reducing blood sugar levels.

Pioglitazone is an anti-diabetic medication belonging to the thiazolidinedione (TZD) class, also known as ‘glitazones’. It’s used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, which is a condition where the body either doesn’t produce enough insulin or the insulin it produces isn’t effective. This type of diabetes usually develops in adulthood.

Pioglitazone contains Pioglitazone, which helps regulate blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes by improving the body’s utilization of insulin. Your doctor will assess its effectiveness within 3-6 months of starting treatment.

Take Pioglitazone with or without food, consistently at the same time daily for best results. The dosage might change based on your condition. Common side effects include upper respiratory tract infections, headache, sinusitis, muscle pain, and pharyngitis, which usually subside on their own.

Do not stop taking Pioglitazone abruptly, even if you feel better, as it can disrupt sugar levels and increase risks like retinopathy, nephropathy, and neuropathy. Avoid Pioglitazone if you have type 1 diabetes, allergies to it or its ingredients, heart failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe kidney or liver disease, or bladder cancer. Inform your doctor about heart conditions, pregnancy, and breastfeeding, and avoid giving it to children under 18.
