Alneed Plus Capsule, This combination product contains a mineral (iron) along with three vitamins (vitamin C, vitamin B12, and folic acid). It is used to treat or prevent a lack of these nutrients which may occur in certain health conditions such as anemia, pregnancy, poor diet, or surgery recovery.
- Iron: Essential for red blood cell production.
- Vitamin C: Improves iron absorption.
- Vitamin B: Important for normal blood, cells, and nerves.
- Folic Acid: Needed for healthy cell formation, especially red blood cells.
Treatment or prevention of nutrient deficiency in conditions like anemia, pregnancy, poor diet, or surgery recovery.
- Take orally, usually once daily or as directed by your doctor.
- Best taken on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
- If stomach upset occurs, may be taken with food.
- Avoid antacids, dairy products, tea, or coffee within 2 hours before or after this medication to maintain its effectiveness.
- Take with a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) unless directed otherwise by your doctor.
- Avoid lying down for at least 10 minutes after taking this medication.
Important Note for Women:
- Women of childbearing age should ensure adequate folic acid intake to prevent spinal cord birth defects.
