- Does not negatively affect lipid metabolism, unlike some non-selective β-blockers.
- Ensures consistent plasma concentration with low variability, making it effective for once-daily dosing.
Ancor tablet is used to treat:
- Hypertension (high blood pressure).
- Angina (chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart).
- Moderate to severe heart failure.
Note: Ancor is not suitable for emergency treatment of hypertensive crises.
