- Azyth 500mg Tablet is not effective against viral infections like the flu or the common cold. It only works against bacterial infections. Azyth 500mg Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food, but it is recommended to take it at a fixed time for consistent results. Do not exceed the recommended dosage and complete the full course of treatment even if you start feeling better.
- Inform your doctor if you have liver problems, muscle problems (myasthenia gravis), heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmia), or electrolyte imbalances (low potassium or magnesium levels). If you experience diarrhea for more than four days, consult your doctor before taking any anti-diarrheal medication. It is advisable to consult your doctor before using Azyth 500mg Tablet during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, as the effects on the baby or passage into breast milk are not fully known.
