Betacap TR 40mg Capsule contains Propranolol, a beta-blocker. It is used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure), angina (chest pain), and arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythm).
- Controls abnormal increases in blood pressure and/or heart rate due to anxiety, overactive thyroid gland, pheochromocytoma (adrenal gland tumors), or Hypertrophic Subaortic Stenosis (thickening of heart muscles).
- Improves blood circulation to the heart and other body parts.
- Manages heart attacks and migraine headaches.
- Controls shakiness by blocking abnormal nerve signals between the brain and muscles.
- Inform your doctor about any liver or kidney problems.
- Discuss any history of angina (unstable or Prinzmetal angina) or arrhythmia (such as Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome).
- Inform your doctor if you have breathing problems or diabetes.
- Not recommended for patients with severe asthma, hypotension (low blood pressure), or shock.
- Unsuitable for patients with heart block, a history of heart attack, or heart failure.
- Avoid taking it without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
