Betafree Eye Drop combines:
Brinzolamide, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that decreases aqueous humour formation
Brimonidine, an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that reduces fluid production and increases its outflow
Together, they effectively lower intraocular pressure.
Betafree Eye Drop is a prescription ophthalmic medication used in the management of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It contains a combination of medicines that help lower elevated pressure inside the eye by reducing the production of aqueous humour (the fluid within the eye). Controlling eye pressure helps prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss.
Betafree Eye Drop should be used only in the affected eye(s) and strictly according to the dose and duration prescribed by a doctor. Hands should be washed before application, and the instructions on the label must be carefully followed. Do not discontinue the medicine without medical advice, even if symptoms improve, as premature stopping may worsen the condition.
