Brodil Levo is used to treat or prevent bronchospasm in adults, adolescents, and children with reversible obstructive airway diseases.
- Brodil Levo HFA is part of the fast-acting bronchodilators, commonly called “relievers”. It is prescribed to alleviate symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
- The inhaler provides quick relief from breathing problems but is not a preventive medication. For long-term management, another inhaler (preventer) may be prescribed.
- Brodil Levo HFA works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, making breathing easier. Its effects are fast-acting and can last for several hours.
- Only use it when symptoms like wheezing or shortness of breath occur, or before known triggers like exercise or allergens.
- If prescribed, follow the doctor’s recommended number of puffs during asthma attacks.
- Dizziness, vomiting, throat pain, and nasal congestion (stuffy nose). Usually mild, but if more severe side effects like chest pain or a bad headache occur, contact a doctor immediately.
- Inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart issues, overactive thyroid, diabetes, or low potassium levels to ensure it’s safe for you.
- Brodil Levo HFA may cause dizziness or shakiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you feel stable.
