Indications of Budicort 0.5/2ml
Budesonide nebulizer suspension is used to treat asthma both as a maintenance treatment and as a preventative measure.
Pharmacology
Budesonide could be a manufactured corticosteroid having powerful glucocorticoid movement and powerless mineralocorticoid action. It has around a 200-fold higher fondness for the glucocorticoid receptor and a 1000-fold higher topical anti-inflammatory strength than cortisol. Corticosteroids have appeared to have a wide extent of inhibitory exercises against different cell sorts (e.g., pole cell, eosinophil, neutrophil, macrophage, and lymphocyte) and arbiters (e.g., histamine, eicosanoids, leukotriene, and cytokine) included in unfavorably susceptible interceded aggravation.
Dosage & Administration of Budicort 0.5/2 ml
Children 3 months to 12 years of age: 0.5-1 mg twice daily.
Adults and elderly: 1-2 mg twice daily.

There have been no notable medication interactions reported.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the preparation’s constituents.
Side Effect
Sneezing, headaches, sore throats, dry mouth, nausea, and other frequent side effects have been recorded.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Pregnancy: There are no adequate and well-controlled studies on pregnant women. Budesonide nebulizer suspension, like other corticosteroids, should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
Lactation: It is not known whether Budesonide is excreted in human milk. Because other corticosteroids are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when Budesonide nebulizer suspension is administered to nursing women.
Precautions & Warnings
In patients with active or quiescent tuberculosis, untreated fungal, bacterial, or systemic viral infections, or ocular herpes simplex infection, budesonide nebulizer suspension should be administered with caution.

Keep the temperature below 30°C and keep it away from light and moisture. Keep out of children’s reach.
